Amadeus CWA has continued its roadshow presenting the Amadeus Remote Ticketing Solution (RTS) to travel agents across Central and West Africa.

The workshops, which were held in Amadeus offices in Abidjan, Douala, Ndjamena and Yaoundé Travel, allowed travel agents in to brush up on their skills on the RTS.

The RTS workshop showed travel agents how to manage sales across a travel agency network and benefit from cross-partner opportunities in an easy, secure and transparent way.

This fully automated solution, which was launched in 2014, manages pricing and ticketing at remote points of sale and can even be used amongst IATA agents as well as between IATA and non-IATA agencies. This feature comes in handy in today’s Sub-Saharan Africa travel market, where more than 30% of travel agencies are non-IATA.

The workshop brought together novice users as well as those who already go to grips with the solution, enabling everyone to share their experiences in an informal way.
