Who are you and how long have you been with Amadeus?
I’m Onuwa Edward Adigwe, Sales Coordinator, Nigeria & Ghana. An extrovert & creative person. Joined Amadeus August 2009, over 4 years ago.

What does your job in the ACO entail?
I’m responsible for the administration of the Agent loyalty programme – AmadeusFirst, coordinate and management ACO sales events. Also in charge of business intelligence analysis reports and CRM administration.

About AmadeusFirst, how many members are currently enrolled in this loyalty programme?
We’ve got up to 3,400 members.

What aspect of your job do you most enjoy?
I will say analyzing reports, something to do with my accounting background, and organizing customer events.

In your opinion, what’s the best thing about working in the travel industry?
It affords me the opportunity of getting to appreciate the cultural diversity around the world.

Growing up what profession did you hope to pursue?
A Pharmacist.

Which Amadeus value is important to you and why?
That will be Customer First. Our success depends largely on our Customers

What is the greatest accomplishment of your life, thus far?
Publishing a book – The Outcast Heir

What philosophy or value do you hold dearest in life?
Life is a myth or not a reality

What kind of music do you enjoy?
Reggae, Dance Hall & Country Music

If you could wake up tomorrow having gained one quality or ability, what would it be?
It is to be able to play the guitar like the *Juju maestro, King Sunny Ade

*Juju is a popular Nigerian music from the Yoruba ethnic group in the Western part. The name is derived from the Yoruba word “jiju” meaning “to throw something”, and it’s NOT a form of magic of any sort.
