Has your client asked you to order a fruit platter for their meal on their next flight? Would they like to have a seat close to the lavatories? Or would they like to bring their chihuahua?
If you’re still adding Special Requests in Cryptic, now is a good time to change. Selling Platform Connect has just made its Special Service requests more user-friendly and less time-consuming.
Make sure you have a PNR that is priced, and simply type the command FXK. This will automatically open a web-dialogue box called SEATS AND SERVICE CATALOGUE.
On this catalogue you can now pre-assign:
- Excess Baggage
- Passenger Assistance
- Passenger Information
Requesting meals by using this catalogue means you no longer have to remember all the different meal codes. All the available meals and their associated codes are displayed in this catalogue. All you need to do is click on the requested meal.
Once you click on Seats, the configuration of the aircraft will be displayed. All you have to do is click on the Available seats and then click on ADD seats for the seats to be added to the PNR.
Baggage and Pets
You may use these services if you want to request excess baggage or pet services with just a simple click.
Wheel Chair requests, Meet and Assist, and many more assistant request services are requested under Passenger Assistance.
How many of you dread adding long cryptic entries with your customers’ passport details?
Long tedious entries such as SRDOCS YY HK1-P-KEN-12344577-KEN-10JAN88-F-10JUL25-JIWA-RUHEENA are now a thing of the past.
With the Seats and Service Catalogue, all you need to do is click on Passenger Information and select APIS and fill in the box. How easy is that?
You can also add your customer’s frequent flyer number in Passenger Information.
Once you have added the requested services, you’ll find a table called SERVICE SUMMARY at the bottom of the SEATS AND SERVICE CATALOGUE. This summary displays the entire list of services you have requested.
After you closeyour catalogue, all the services requested will get transferred to your PNR.
