In order to compete in a fast paced industry where travelers are continuously adapting to new trends, Travel Agencies need to embrace new technologies and work more efficiently to meet the increasing demands from their customers.
Amadeus has already anticipated this and introduced the Business Management Platform (BMP) which is a suite of robotic solutions embedded into the Selling Platform and which are designed to automate the travel agency front and mid office processes. Amadeus Queue Manager
In Tanzania the team has been actively promoting Queue Manager to customers. A demo was recently done at Jumbo Travel in Dar es Salaam by Products Specialist Salim Hassan and Sales Manager Pasqua Demello. Queue Manager performs routine operations such as wait list management and PNR checks based on a set of rules that are predetermined by the Travel Agency Administrator.
Amadeus LINK & Amadeus Remote Ticketing Solution (RTS)
The team in Kenya have launched Amadeus
LINK to a number of customers. A series of workshops were conducted in Nairobi from 19th to 22nd September focusing on Amadeus LINK and Amadeus Remote Ticketing Solution.
Amadeus LINK is a powerful sales data management tool that provides data analysis and enables Travel Agencies to manage their sales data and benefit from inbuilt and customized reports in the most complete and efficient way.
Amadeus Remote Ticketing Solution is a fully automated solution that manages pricing, price comparison and ticketing at remote points of sale. The solution thus provides a simplified cooperation between non IATA agents (subagents) making bookings and the IATA agents (consolidators) who are in charge of fulfilment.
