“Customer service is key” – Aeroland Travels on 20 years in travel

Aeroland Travels

To celebrate 30 years of innovation, collaboration and better journeys, Amadeus has chosen some of our top travel agents, who have been in the industry for years, to share their journey with us…

At Amadeus, we pride ourselves on helping our customers all over the world improve the travel experience for billions of people for the past 30 years.

We chatted to Founder of Aeroland Travels Segun Adewale about his experiences over the last 20 years in travel.

Aeroland Travels has been a leader in the industry for over 20 years, how has the journey been so far?

It has been both rough and smooth. The truth is that good things rarely come easy!

Inconsistency with government policies has played a major part in our industry, as well as the banning of airlines, political instability and also increased competition.  However, overall technology has made everything easier in a variety of ways.

Amadeus has really helped with the growth of our business and we appreciate them for that!

Amadeus will be 30 years in October, how did Amadeus and Aeroland begin to work together?

I used to operate on other Global Distribution Systems but migrated to Amadeus in 1997, and I have never looked back. It’s been a great experience ever since!

How do you set yourself apart from competitors?

Customer service is the key! We always try to be one step ahead of our customers and offer them everything they want. We are cost-effective and offer quality service that is innovative. Creativity is also very important.

Amadeus continually introduces updated products and solutions which have gone a long way in helping us assist our customers.

What are your ambitions for the future?

We hope to launch our airline someday. Of course, our future airline will be strictly on Amadeus! We sure hope it’s going to happen someday.
